Yeah it should be about Chipotle $hits and not the Chipotle headache. That's really the result.

This. The antidote to the poop knife.

Or any Italian food, almost all of which has more MSG than most Chinese food. Or basically any non-vegetarian food. The MSG bogeyman is particularly silly.

MSG is in so much. For example if you eat Doritos and are fine but complain about how you get headaches from msg in Chinese food, you are mistaken.

Chipotle does not use MSG or any other common name for it.

I definitely think certain spices and ingredients (including potentially very high sodium content) can cause headaches or other issues in some people.

I often get headaches after eating Ethiopian food (which I really enjoy). I assume there is a spice or other ingredient in the food that I don't consume often and it might trigger a headache.

However, if I say this to anyone, they accuse me of being crazy and racist. People say that about the MSG thing too. It's not racist. I'm not saying this food is bad or unhealthy. But of course there are certain ingredients that can impact your health. Just like some people are lactose intolerant, others might have reactions to other ingredients. It's more likely to happen with a cuisine you don't consume a lot because if you ate that ingredient all the time, you'd either acclimate to it or you'd feel terrible all the time and would have figured out the sensitivity by now.

But people are weird about this so now I just make sure I have migraine meds on hand before eating Ethiopian, and I only have it once in a while. Oh well.

Seriously, the pfa stuff, it’s like everything else we come into contact with daily, “can” cause cancer, but like with everything else, if eaten in moderation you’ll be fine. I mean theres soooo many cancer causing chemicals in the air we breathe all day every day, are you gonna stop breathing. I understand taking steps to be a healthier you and I commend it, but if you really think about it, you have to be exposed pretty heavily to things over your life to get the cancer that almost everything causes. Are you gonna limit yourself and not enjoy life because of “risks” live on the edge, take a chance and get yourself a char-broiled burger. Unless you eat it every single day you’re gonna be just fine

I can't even imagine being this fragile and delusional. OK honey, millions of people eat it every day but YOU'RE so special and healthy it's intolerable.

Weird, you'd think that being so healthy with your "clean," "organic" diet would make your body an unassailable fortress, not a house of cards that collapses from a single fast food meal.

There is definitely MSG in their food, although it’s most likely not something they themselves are adding but used in the ingredients they use. MSG is a huge trigger for me. It causes me to have total 💩show migraines with vomiting, head pain so bad I want to die and a guaranteed trip to the er. Last time I had chipotle I got IV dilaudid 3 times abnd my pain only decreased by 10% maybe. It was them getting the vomiting under control that was the biggest help. But I’ve eaten there 3 times in my life, each time I ended up in the er within 3 hours.

I’ve never eaten there bc i only eat CLEAN organic food that i prepare myself, but my niece really wanted me to try her “fave food” so i went ONCE and i got a splitting headache that was so bad it made me think something was contaminated, and made me think to google if anyone else gets headaches from chipotle and what chemicals are in this fake “healthy” fast food. Something is def wrong with the food there, bc this is a crazy reaction. It def must have msg or some chemicals in it besides the PFAS laden bowls that cost your body with cancer-causing forever chemicals or something else that my clean-eating body cannot handle. It scares me that my neice eats this stuff all the time. The salt content is stroke-inducing and should have a surgeon generals warning.

A Chipotle bowl with chicken, white rice, fajita veg, black beans, guac, tomato salsa, corn salsa, and cheese has and estimated 2460 mg of sodium.

By comparison, a Big Mac and medium french fries from McDonald's only has an estimated 1320 mg of sodium.

People get bamboozled by fast casual food masquerading as healthy food all the time.

Make your bowl healthier. I use chicken, brown rice, fajita veg, tomato salsa, green salsa and romaine. My sodium is 1460. Still a decent amount of sodium but not crazy. Drink water to offset any salt headaches.
