Not OP, but my kids are half. They don't know any different, and where we live, mixed race people are common, so they don't stick out. As they grow older, they understand more that they are a mix of different races and cultures, and again, given that we live in such a diverse area, to them, it's nbd.

They have a mix of our features. One DC has fairer skin/hair, while the other is darker. One's eyes are more almond shaped than the other. It's quite a mix, but they are both beautiful, if I do say so myself.

I will say though, that at one point when my older DC was very young, we lived in an area where most of the kids were white, and all of his bffs were blonde/blue eyed. He said to me one day that he wished he had yellow hair. That saddened me. We moved out of that area for various reasons, but the lack of diversity was one of the reasons, though I believe that area has become more diverse since we've moved.

I'm an Asian woman married to a white man. Some people are a bit surprised when they meet me face to face. However, I think that is becoming less common (being surprised) especially around places like DC and Bay Area where white/Asian mix is so common.

Not the OP, but I feel like so many white couples have adopted Asian children in some cities and circles (Manhattan for example) that this is common...I went to a progressive private school in a big city and there were so many Asian "Sarah Jones..."

Someone I know a married an Asian man. His last name was Liu and she was white I asked if she gets weird looks and she does. Also my HS friend is Puerto Rican and Black and his last name is Lee
