Guess what? ALL of us feel that way! And yet those of us whose kids have been required to go to Haycock for Level IV are somehow selfish, evil schemers because our kids are there...

Of course not! Why would the school board actually solve the problem when they can just move the kids around like numbers on a spreadsheet?

Gross. Who would want their kids going to school in the heart of Pimmit Hills unless they lived there?

I hope this is sarcasm. Otherwise, you sound like an elitist jerk.

Nice. Where do you live that's so fabulous?

A large number of the base kids appear to qualify for level IV services, so shipping them all out would leave the school way under capacity.

Then they wouldn't need the $15 million renovation.

BTW, most of the kids they are shipping out come from schools with no LLIV. I do support LLIV for Haycock if they remove the center. It makes sense.

They could if they were just remodeling the Pimmit Center or the Dunn Loring center back into schools. It was done with the Devonshire center that is now Graham Road ES.

+1. Pimmit does not need much in the way of remodeling. It's been used for adult ed, and classrooms are in great shape, the library is empty but ready to go, and the cafeteria is no smaller than Haycock's or Lemon Road's.

That would be kind of strange. It's so close to Westgate, and not far from Lemon Road, either.

It wouldn't be strange if you just put all of the AAP kids in the area there. Take the kids from Haycock so it's no longer a center and put then there. It's about 450 students, maybe a little more.

Don't think this is going to happen.
