Me three. Kate's dress and veil were lovely, but nowhere near the show-stopper that Diana's was. And really, if you are one of literally a handful of people in the world who has the opportunity to wear a real show-stopper wedding dress, why wouldn't you? Kate's outfit, while perfectly fine, could have been worn by any old bride.

I agree. I think Kate is beautiful and I LOVE her everyday style.

But-- I do think the dress should have been grander. It still could have been classy and simplistic/ModerN but we needed something more show-stopping....even a super long train...something!

I also am not a fan of bright whites on brunetTes--ESP with tans. Ecru or eggshell is always a more flattering shade of white.

I still think she lookEd beautiful!

Europeans always look older. Dh and I lived abroad in our early 30s and everyone over there thought we were aRound 20. Lots of smoking, sun and drinking...and fair n.euro skin.

To continue my lecture for the other ladies of the board: Even my husband noticed the VPL. They were all over the place in the wedding photos, particularly among the younger set.

The first wedding cake had 17 different elements of nature (acorns, lillies of the valley, etc) selected by cake and tediously applied by someone who will never have to stoop to open a cupcake shop.

The chocolate wedding cake for Wills is composed of hundreds (thousands, maybe?) of chocolate cookies. It is a favorite from his child.

Now back to cleaning Cheerios off the floor and weeding the garden.
