Losing to Mcdonogh who is the clear #2 in conference isn’t a shock but you are right, they need to turn it around.
SPSG result are confusing - not necessarily result against McD, but against Glen Elg and even such a close game against RPCS. They have very good players, what's preventing them from putting it all together?
The offense. They have talent and athleticism, but no rhythm and offense iq. Heads down, bad shots, bad decisions, one-dimensional players…you know what every player is going to do and where they shoot every single time. It’s tough when you lose your field generals to graduation and no one can step up to fill the void right away.

Pretty even and probably low scoring. 7-6 possibly.
SM 9-7 win. Not far off your prediction.
Anyone have info on the game?

Main ones in-conference are:
MV v Sev
MV v McD
SPSG v GCS
NDP v STM
McD v SPSG
8 out of 12 A Conf. teams make the playoffs. My guess on 3 of the 4 out will be: BMS, Mercy, JC
Getting the 2, 3, 6 or 7 seed may be key this year if Maryvale is that much better than everyone else. We may not know until Spalding plays Maryvale on 4/24.
I don’t see anyone hanging with MV, let alone beating them.
9-9 with 2:30 left in the game that ended up 11-9 MVP. Either team could have won. I guess one team can hang with them.

Kudos to Maryvale for recruiting such an unbeatable team. But doesn't it get boring as a player not having any competition or being challenged?
They just haven't played anyone yet.
Both can be true, haven’t played anyone and are unbeatable.
Mcdonogh game will be telling, they have a few “stars” that should give MV problems, will it be enough to make it a game?
Some stars? They have the best high school goalie in the country. The best defender in the class and a top 10 attacker.
