Not true. 10% for 150 days. Then that’s it. He can increase up to 15% if he feels like it, but it’s still over 153 days from this moment.
Agreed. But he is trying to present Kavanaugh's dissent as official approval of tariffs. Before we weren't sure, now we are approved.
Its an assertion the majority of the court has already rejected.
Somebody needs to tell the Clown in Chief.
+1 Did he skip to the end so he thinks Kavanaugh’s dissent is the decision?
It was more like the read the ruling as the court saying, you lost on a technicality, you just can't apply the tariffs this one way. And then the dissent spells out the many laws that do authorize the president to impose tariffs. He calls the ruling incorrect (I can read, I have good reading comprehension) and stupid (I can invade a country and bully them but not impose tariffs?) but accepts it. Then he takes Kavanaugh's words as a legal blessing, like the uncertainty is done now. We have to use these other more complicated laws but now it is official and approval. And he is acting like the new way is just more tedious or more paper work, not that the complication might stop the tariffs.
