Concorde is not doing timed finals. So guess it’s Liberty and National districts that are doing prelims/finals.


Liberty is doing prelims on Friday and finals on Saturday which all the districts in the region should be doing equally.

Nationals is doing timed finals on Friday which is a disservice to their schools and swimmers. Particularly since they have been out of the water all week.

Right, but it’s also a disservice to Concorde. This thread keeps saying National is the only one. It’s not.


I think there was some confusion on Concorde and agree it is a disservice to them as well.

When you talk about leveled playing fields having timed finals is a serious handicap particularly when you have not had practice all week.

I do hope lots of complaints are made.

If they close early tomorrow. All districts are screwed except Concorde.

If they close Saturday then everyone would still send top 8. It would only hurt relays because seed time would be the final time.

But by not even giving Saturday as an option screws two districts.


At 18:13 someone posted that they had heard Concorde is going to do the regular plan, same as Patriot.

+1 Concorde is doing timed finals for swim on Friday. No prelims and no Saturday.

I figure it was more due to the current road conditions rather than any chance of snow this coming weekend. Same reason the shut down anything after 6pm tonight.

Concorde is timed finals for swimming on Friday at 12:30 Cub Run and Diving is at 10:15 at Oakmont on Saturday.
