Homeland Security shares account of fatal shooting
The Department of Homeland Security said federal agents were conducting a "targeted operation" in Minneapolis at 9:05 a.m. Saturday looking for "an illegal alien wanted for violent assault."
"An individual approached U.S. Border Patrol officers with a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun," the agency said in a statement. "The officers attempted to disarm the suspect but the armed suspect violently resisted."
"Fearing for his life and the lives and safety of fellow officers, an agent fired defensive shots," the department's statement continued. "Medics on scene immediately delivered medical aid to the subject but was pronounced dead at the scene."
DHS said the man had two magazines and "no ID" and that more information would be coming.

Let's say he did draw on the officers. Is the threat from that not passed by the time they have him on the ground, without access to his weapon, and are beating him senseless? I feel like I'm in bizarro land when anyone can justify what the video shows by saying the deceased drew his gun beforehand. I just don't understand how that could be justification for the execution that followed.

1) They were beating a struggling man with batons
2) His jacket opened revealing a gun in his waistband or lower back
3) The agent in gray grabbed the gun and was walking away
4) THEN the other agents shot the man in the back
Is this the poster’s analysis of posted videos?
I don’t understand why an investigation is not MANDATORY for all law enforcement shootings of civilians.
If it is mandatory, then is this just more lawlessness by the Trump circle of monsters?
Where is the ACLU? Congress?

Anonymous wrote:It is not confirmed fatal yet but it is really really bad. The video is already being shared. The victim was pistol whipped and thrown to the ground by 5 officers and was shot point blank at least 7 times as they were pinned to the ground
Don’t watch the video if you are at all squeamish

I fear for the witnesses that got taken into custody. Who knows what they are doing to those people.

Wow.
I haven’t been able to see the video yet, but this sounds bad.
I don’t have X.
It's all over reddit
