Just go to private. HB isn't a private school so if that's what you want, you'll be disappointed and best to just leave now.

I just want a school smaller than 2500 students. Thats bigger than most SLACS.

Another current parent. My child is also neurodivergent and it has been a great fit. They were the one who wanted to apply and were most excited about the idea—not us. They are happy and doing well and have actually commented on how much neurodiversity there is at the school. I don’t think any school is perfect. I wish there was more capacity or an ability for more kids seeking a place like HB to have one. I definitely agree that it’s not like a private school (I went to one and worked at one) and I think some of the “cachet” is silly. But it’s great for kids who want to be there.

Good luck and may the odds be ever in your favor! HB is a wonderful program that has been great for my kid. But there are some real tradeoffs to consider and it's not for everyone. There are also a lot of misconceptions about it.

Yes, in SchoolMint. The staff goes in, checks some data, then they click a few buttons, and it spits out the list, per the requests. I also wondered why it needed to be delayed, but I guess there was more work to do that couldn't be done remotely.

Results come out at 6pm Friday the 13th, approximately? There is no delay in days or anything right?
