I think the lottery was postponed to next Friday (another snow casualty).
A lottery run by adults in Syphax, was postponed for 0.001” of snow dust?
No, the snow last week. It doesn’t make sense either.
Really? It doesn't make sense that people would be behind after missing 6 days of work?
Maybe all the files are stored securely, so they had to actually be in the building to do it.
They contract out registration to SchoolMint, so all the data was available. I guess they have to make the tickets? Haven’t they been back in the office for a week — students were just delayed but 12 month employees had a parking garage so no reason to close.
I watched the lottery back in 2020... they do fill in some info that we can't see, but its mostly an algorithm and then they click randomize. Then they go back and adjust. Maybe it's changed? Mostly, I hate waiting and having to wait another week to learn that we'll go to the school we are zoned to is so hard! I've accepted it... mostly.
Also, why do they ask the 5th graders to register for courses before the lottery even happens?
Its all done in software now? No paper trail? Why wad it delayed? We have to make private school decisions and this affects that.
Just go to private. HB isn't a private school so if that's what you want, you'll be disappointed and best to just leave now.

But I guess it will be moot if the lottery doesn't go our way, which it most likely won't!

Happy to answer any sincere questions (not trolls or conspiracy theorists) from anyone who gets in and is truly trying to decide.

Yes, in SchoolMint. The staff goes in, checks some data, then they click a few buttons, and it spits out the list, per the requests. I also wondered why it needed to be delayed, but I guess there was more work to do that couldn't be done remotely.
Results come out at 6pm Friday the 13th, approximately? There is no delay in days or anything right?
