I'm an Independent.

With the new RCV, are they allowing independents to vote in the primaries? Or do I need to switch my party affiliation to D to vote in the primary?

Who are the boring technocrat normies (similar to Bowser) running for Mayor and City Council?

Which means they are perfectly suited for being on the council.

Not really. As she states, all of this is public information. She is just bringing it to light.

She is the best choice in this race, by far.

Brooke Pinto has never held a real job in her life. How could you vote for her?

She was a tax attorney for the Attorney General.

and that qualifies her for being the DC delegate how?

The original claim was that she never held a real job in her life. You're moving the goalposts.

So, depending on whether RWhite or BPinto wins the delegate primary, DC will have to fund another special election for either Ward 2 or DC as a whole? Kinda slimy that both of them are holding on to their seats while they actively campaign for a different one and will thereby inevitably cost the city money.

And if the new Council throws TWhite out again, I guess there will be another special election for Ward 8.

Honestly, I was expecting more skullduggery given the uproar from White's camp. This is pretty much just a line-by-line recitation of his career, plus a few datapoints on the standard disclosures of his assets and debts. Maybe he and his supporters are upset because it lays bare his incompetence and piss-poor legislative record?

He's just using it for a tactic for outrage. He's a public official, it's not like people don't know where he lives. Also, he uses his kids as props all the time.

Still waiting on folks like Kevin Chavous.

Where is the link? Don't believe this.

This part.

I don't care. I am happy that she is finally fighting back. He has been dragging her and saying she is a Republican knowing that she is not. He was playing dirty and now he wants everyone to feel sorry for him. Whatever. I fully support.

There wasn't anything in the opposition research that was disqualifying.

I'm not sure he's going to get a lot of sympathy from voters by whining about keeping families out of politics when he has been impugning Pinto's for months.
