DP. Relax everyone. Perhaps allow a teacher to express an opinion without turning it into a teacher bashing event.
I suspect the PP’s reference to “self sacrifice” was the suggestion above that teachers shouldn’t use their own leave. That’s all. It was a reference that we expect more of teachers than we do of gatehouse staff.
Let a teacher express frustration. You don’t know his/her circumstances. Stop expecting silent compliance and just let that person be human.
