I always had to have make kids make cards with just an illustration on the front because the ones at the store were such poor descriptors of the kind of person exDH is.

When he moved out, he left behind the stack of their beautiful cards. A month later he was setting up his apartment and he asked to come back to get a few things he forgot, so I put the cards in a prominent spot on his desk.

He left the cards and instead took the tangled heap of cords next to them.

They should design a card for that kind of father.

Yes, it would be on them but I don't condone either of the parent do things to take other parents access away from kids. That's never helpful.

I agreed to much lower child support in order to have sole custody so kids could have stability. Best thing I ever did. We were poor, but we had each other.

Wow, you alienated him, kicked him out and terminated their relationship. Speaks volumes.

OP, you need to let your ex-H get the custody of kids if he is interested in taking care of them. It would be very very bad and abusive if you keep the other parent away from them and they will always be resentful to you and your mom guilt will always bother you.
