You know.... just returning the favor!

But of course, cannot deny the reality that democrats used lawfare against Trump. Or were those lawsuits legit? Depends on which side of the aisle you sit.
We’re just going to devolve into this tit for tat.
Please do not “both sides” this thing. That’s very dangerous. It’s how we got here to begin with.
I’ve read all nine pages, no one should be ok with what is happening here. That should be distinguished from folks on here remarking on the irony that the guy who very likely changed the course of the 2016 election is now reaping what he sowed.
Nope. It is a both sides thing. And Trump is using all of what Dems have used or done, against the Dems themselves. (Cancel culture, hate speech is not free speech, lawfare, etc). Democrats have got to take responsibility for their part they played in the whole mess. Democrats opened the door.
Don’t be surprised if he decided to disarm the populace using the progressive democrats arguments from previous years.
It would be in the democrats and countries best interest to go over the last decade and see what else Trump will use.
But in order to do that, democrats must accept the responsibility for the part they played.
As soon as republicans start saying democrats did it first, I know they have no justification for what they are doing.
I don’t know what this has to do with democrats anyway. James Comey is and always has been a republican.
The lawfare Dems committed against Trump (perceived lawfare)
It’s not about blaming democrats or accusing Dems of doing it first. It’s about that any entity did it first. Once you do it or demand it or make it ok, you make it ok for others, not just your side. It’s about setting precedent. Once something is done once it’s easier to do the subsequent times.
Democrats are getting blamed for doing it first because they did it first. But it’s truly about precedent.

Meanwhile, it’s your test case for ramping up the weaponized DOJ.
Sigh.
As a Democrat who is terrified that we have reached a tipping point when it comes to the rule of law and our democracy, I’m praying that perhaps the Republicans will finally reach their tipping point and start pushing back since one of their own is impacted.

True to form a grand jury has indicted a hsm sandwich and it will be dismissed with prejudice and rotten egg all.over the MAGA DOJ and Trump's ugly repulsive reptilian face.
I hope Comey comes back and sues the whole effing pack of MAGA whores and their pimp.

It’s really unbelievable. I realize they had to get some random insurance attorney to file this, but she actually said sure why not!
But a grand jury indicted. I know the litmus test isn’t as stringent as a verdict, but still.
A grand jury is a majority vote.
A conviction jury is unanimous.
A grand jury has no defense, and the prosecution can lie.
A conviction jury hears a defense.
This is a political farce. The "litmus test" is that DOJ was able to assemble a MAGA majority for the grand jury.
