But it is a public school with certain legally-binding mandates. Like the UCs. Like Texas. Like UNC. Like UVA.
If Georgia Tech didn't have to deal with that, it'd be right up there with MIT and Stanford in engineering.
If one wants the smartest peer group possible for engineering, GT is not where they go.
