This. The wealthy donated money to reduce taxes and buy clout. They poured funding into institutions with their names on it. In return, they were able to reduce their taxes and get “credit”. There’s no motivation to donate when they can keep everything.

There ought to be repercussion for that level of inhumanity towards your employees. If the public is going after Target for their stance on LGBQT issues, a fairly narrow percentage of the population, how about going after predatory corporations that drive mom and pop stores out of business while exploiting and abusing their employees?

The level of wealth hoarding these people do requires they be sociopaths in the first place. They accumulate the wealth because they don't have a moral code to hold them back from the bad behaviors and exploitation it takes to acquire that level of wealth in the first place.
