Couldn't agree more. America should withdraw our support for the war "over there". No support for Israel (they are crazy), no support for Palestine (too different). No weapons, no money, no aid.

Yes my husband IS Jewish (non practicing) and we BOTH are horrified by what is going on (Israel's genocide). NOTHING against Jewish people but against the GOVERNMENT committing these crimes. I keep my feelings to myself (among my friend group and those we socialize with) as its become so hot button which is what prompted me to write this post about the lunch

I reached out to her to really just let her know i felt for her and perhaps to have a conversation but regretted it once the tirade began.

You sound unhinged. The point is I disagree with murder - genocide is murder- why should my money support that. And yes, as an American Christian I am totally detached and quite frankly could care less what the talking heads say. Don't tell me to watch (F)ucker Carlson or whatever atrocity Fox is displaying. I don't need to be told how to believe or think - I can do that myself. So THIS American is not at "ALL about Isreal", nor am I all about Palestine. I'd rather divert the conversation to global climate change which will kill way more people in the long run.

Of all the moms, shes the one I am the least close with but I feel badly for how it went. I want to call her just to see how shes doing because I know it was upsetting to her. Not to say I agree with her at all but shes human and no doubt felt really outnumbered as the "ringleader" came on really strong. Should I call or leave it alone?
