It's almost like his targets and his behaviors were irrational and crazy vs being the actions of a determined ideologue.
They weren't random. They were political assassinations. Irrational? Time will tell.
I attended an emergency management forum a few weeks ago with two speakers on mass violence. He said most are not crazy. They are very much driven by ideology.
