Everything you just stated does not justify “bombing them off the map.” If Xerxes has been long dead, so too have the ancient Israelites.
The bombing is the consequence of their quest for nuclear weapons for offensive purposes, along with their history of fomenting and supporting terror groups as their proxies.

Read some history and relearn the Bible. Jesus was a Jew condemned and crucified by a Roman. There is no Christian religion without this act, but putting that aside, you do realize that what Christians call The Last Supper was a Passover meal. The New Testament is inextricably linked to the Old, the Jews are the chosen people through God's covenant with Abraham. I'm sorry if you don't like it. No Israel has not gone too far. The timing of the attack on Iran is simple. Negotiations between US and Iran were not progressing so Iran received a sample of what would happen if they don’t fall in line.

Unfortunately, the same powers that wanted American troops to be sacrificed in Iraq also want them to be sacrificed for Iran.
