I avoid that by ordering for pickup, but walking inside and picking it up at the service desk myself. I actually do that mostly because inventory is so spotty and want to make sure the item is in stock.
And I park in the pickup spaces, because I’m picking up, but OP head explodes because my car is empty.

Was at the Giant today. All the handicapped spots were filled which is usual. All the pick up spots were empty - right next to the handicapped ones. You want an old person to walk further so you don’t have to sit in your car and wait one minute longer than you want to for your groceries?

6. Walk back to your vehicle.
7. Load your vehicle.
8. Get into your vehicle.
9. Safely drive away.

Wondering why you seem to think calling someone a grandma is an insult?
it’s basically just saying people that aren’t super good at understanding the internet/apps etc…This would include my own dad and in-laws. They can use the internet-sure, but not for more complicated things like the awful “pickup scheduling” that some people don’t even know is still going on. Even though it’s an option as big as anything else on the page when you are checking out at literally any store online.

Able to do something than you are is a lesser person? How do you feel about the disabled? Do people who are less able than you deserve any consideration or is it just the ones who can push others out of their way who deserve things?

Sure. Just don’t expect any special treatment for it. In fact you should be at the back of the parking lot.
You realize it’s the store that chooses the pick up spots right? Because you sound confused. That is where the store needs the pick ups to park. They are numbered. It’s for an actual reason. That is how the system works.
Yes, o you can let them know which spot you are in once one opens up.

Exactly. Use pick-up. Don’t care. But you may have to wait for a spot while I go pick up a few things for myself.

I don’t think you know what the term “martyr” means because you are using it backwards. A martyr would be someone who chooses to be inconvenienced even when they don’t have to in this situation. basically choosing to be inconvenienced merely for the sake of being inconvenienced. choosing the easier way would be the opposite of a martyr.

I’m not sure why so many of you seem to have a problem with this concept. No waiting in line, having everything ready for you etc…I mean why do you hate it? Also the times I have had an issue with a product (bad fruit, something expired etc…) it has been immediately credited and it’s a click of a button rather than having to go back to the store.
Some of you just like to be miserable. “I choose the harder way because I can!” Ok then. Choose the harder way-but park in a non pick up spot and shut up about it.
The person whining is OP or haven’t you noticed. No one is saying don’t use the service. But you shouldn’t get angry when other people park in those spots because your laziness is not special.
Actually a lot of people have said don’t use the service but ok.
