Job uncertainty is coming into play. Many families are tightening up their spending in anticipation of job loss.
Or, issues at the pool. We are changing pools this year as we are tired of the drama, one family controls the pool and team and the coach is very basic. And, they don't have enough coaches.
I would love to change pools, there are two crazy families who have literally taken over all aspects of the swim team. Some of the most absurd behavior I’ve ever seen!

A bunch of pools have waitlists that long, a waitlist can take YEARS to get off of. Some pools have 10 year waits.
I’ve been on a waitlist where I started in the high 600s and before DD was born. She’ll a rising 5th grader. We’ve belonged to two pools since then, moved once, and the waitlist has outlived a dog. At times it felt like it might last longer than my marriage.
