Is the admin an Arlington dad? Why is everything here deleted?
Not sure with the obsession is around this new coach. Looking forward to seeing how this one plays out. If as bad as they say sure she won’t last longAnonymous wrote:is it true that the young blonde was fired and Arlington picked her up right after she was fired? Toxicity makes sense. Hope she at least knows what shes talking about. Maybe she just adds on to the toxic approach!!Anonymous wrote:The toxicity was strong at the Arlington 2011s team tonight! Thought it was just the players but nope - came from the coaches. This was an invite only session and after the session the coaches told the 5 girls who they were not considering to “leave, just go” and everyone watched them walk off the field. These coaches have no business coaching kids. And if you’re wondering if my kid was one told to “leave, just go”, no. My kid was invited back but after seeing that and also having some very questionable things said to her by the coaches during the session, she will absolutely not be going back again.

Stop. I've watched more than one match and the "strategy" is to boot it long to the right wing and hope she could out run the girl marking her and corral the ball.
In case you were wondering, she could not effectively do either. And yes, this is an ECNL team.
Lol, depends on the right wing!
The one some guy was bragging about yesterday, probably his kid, and how skills could be developed (they clearly haven't been) but speed can't (other girls are just as fast now).
One super fast and the other super slow. You decide

Not surprised. The parents of the 2011s are just terrible. All sorts of different types of sports parent a-holes, from the overexcited newbies to some who have been jerks for years across several age groups on both the girls and boys sides. Entitled, conniving losers. Maybe the team stays together and is really good as the girls get older, who knows. But the parents will never get any better. Word to the wise.

When in reality it looks like all the best players go play for VDA in the older age groups and seem to dominate the conference. This is actually pretty common throughout the other conferences as well. You're better off leaving now. Plus, odds are you'll end up getting waxed by Eclipse in the playoffs and then you'll really see how far off the mark you are.
It’s ECNL. If you are talking boys, it’s a joke. ECNL mid-Atlantic had VDA, ARL, Richmond and 14 other teams that suck.
Why do you all keep talking about standings? Other than a handful of clubs that dominate year after year, the standings have no impact on YOUR kid’s recruiting. So long as the team is good enough to make games interesting and provide an opportunity for your kid to showcase, the year end ranking of any ECNL team has no value.
And to the parent who said something about the academics of Arlington players, I’d say historically their grades and test scores are pretty clearly considered an advantage by the schools that recruit them. It’s NOVA, excellent grades are the norm.
