Subject: McLean leaving FVU
Brave, FVU, Union whatever you want to call it is trash. The management and coaching has to be the worst in the DMV area. But parents/players will flock there because of the league. So they will always have a revolving door of players and no team unity

Please. VYS is a joke and I have friend's kids who play there. Even they know McLean is a powerhouse and VYS is not. VYS won't even scrimmage or play against McLean because they're too scared to lose (not just the game, but their players). Been this way for years. VYS is a small club with an even smaller player base.
Nearly half of the McLean girls were Vienna players. Now going to GA 2.0 will pretty much stop the theft of players and many will even try to return.
I know the 2013 green team. Only 2-3 kids are from Vienna area. So, please stop with the lies. Half - LOL. Seriously, you need a reality check.
Well since you’re only going to have about 4-6 remaining with McLean GA Minor League about half is right according to your numbers. Now the exodus is going to be in the other direction.
Where are those players likely to go? Back to DB at NVA?
GA may end up being stronger than ECNL in DMV for this age. McLean, SYC, and Loudoun are the top 3 2013G teams. Will good players really leave good teams to go to a better league?

McLean will become feeder for Arlington (role reversal from DA days- karma is a funny thing yall), and not contribute to Brave part deux. McLean GA will be second tier but super successful when theirgirls continue playing at NESCAC schools, Ivys and walking on at UVA.
Arlington wins all this, couldn't have happened to a less deserving club but stability matters in this soccer scene.

We are in a middle age group at FVU. I realize there are many worse things in life, but we are faced with:
1. Going back to an organization that made HUGE missteps the last several years including alliances with SYC and BRAVE. 2. Staying with FVU and risk another year of poor coaching, no communication, and a deteriorating pool of players (if I were a GFR player, think twice and three times about joing FVU just for the ECNL badge). 3. Another round of spring ID sessions (ugh).
We won’t be staying, and we won’t be going back to McLean.

Green team would struggle against 2nd teams from SYC and Alexandria.
