Actually, the WSJ reported that occupancy is actually lower for this inauguration. It's only at about 70% when it's usually in the 90s. Hotels and losing it.
Despite all the MAGA crowing, very few people actually like him. They just didn't like the alternative either. It's going to be a tough lesson for them to learn when they think they have some kind of mandate and find out they don't.
When you only have two choices you just have to suck up your dislike of a candidate and just vote. There are definitely people that like his policies, but not enough to travel to see him and stand in the freezing cold.
