Let's not make a bunch of assumptions about what he did or didn't do. But if everyone at the school saw her as a problem and there were warning signs, then they need to be held responsible too. Schools need to start kicking these kids out. This was a private school, it should have been easy. Public schools too need to be held accountable when it happens on their watch.

Thanks to all the disability laws run amok, public schools have a very hard time kicking any of these kids out. Turns out Free Appropriate Public Education isn’t for all kids. It’s just for kids with diagnoses.

Madison is peak white liberal.

Wisconsin has a lot of liberal and a lot of liberals who are also gun owners. And Madison is more diverse politically then you might imagine - especially the suburbs. I was born and raised in SE Wisconsin and have so many friends and family that live in Madison - it is a really like a small town. Most people there (aside from UW students) are 1 or 2 people removed from this tragedy so let's hold some space for how tragic it is. My cousin went to HS with the shooter's dad. My best friend's daughter's best friend attends that school. Everyone is grieving and shaken.
