Because he is on some level a genius. Say what you will about him, he won 2x and got off free having committed a bunch of crimes and as disgusting and horrible a monster he is, he is just got elected President of the US. So you know - something is there.
He may be right on a number of fronts. Maybe not totally correct in his approach or execution but what he is right about, Dems better hope that he's more lucky than correct or his successes may guarantee GOP 2028 sweeps. Be careful what you wish for is how the saying goes..
I read what he said about a couple foreign affairs' decisions today and I admittedly, I think he's right. I don't know that Biden did much better than him in many ways. Maybe Trump is just the luckiest guy ever. But I'd rather follow lucky than good.
He got to where he is by being a conman and quasi mobster. That doesn't mean he isn't smart on some level, but where it comes to being a president and governing and negotiating for something beyond personal gain, he is a moron. Just ask most of the people who worked for him in the first administration.

Luigi Mangione is American citizen and he killed Sullivan
in cold blood. The two supposed assassination attempts on Trump were Americans citizens. I bet there are more American thieves, murderers and drug addicts than illegal immigrants who simply want a better life and whose work ethic is a hell of a lot better than US citizens.
When you are paying $5.00 for one apple then your teeny tiny little mind might understand that illegal immigrants kept the food supply going.
DP. Maybe it’s not a good thing that we’ve been depending on exploitation of migrants to keep food prices low. Maybe it would be good if we shifted to a where we spend more on food and less on Made In China and pay living wages to agriculture workers.

They’ve been ignoring voters for too long, and now I’m the one who will get screwed with Trump policies. They can suck it too.
Dems have gotten higher minimum wages, stronger OSHA requirements for workplace safety, guarantees in worker rights, the ACA, food and drug safety, cleaner air and water, more job growth (by a factor of 96 to 4) etc.
What have republicans done for the working class? Serious question.
They harnessed their anger.
The DNC has been ignoring the working class for years, but keeps crying about democracy. I’m expected to vote for bad and/or geriatric candidates that can’t do the job to “stop Trump.” They need to step it up if they want me to vote. I’m about done, despite never missing an election in 30 years.
You all keep saying the dems have been ignoring the working class and people like me keep showing the different legsilation and action items that dems have passed that benefit the working class. What are the GOP working class laws that have passed?

So good luck to the pay-check to pay-check people who voted for him hoping he would bring the price or eggs down. They will keep paying the same if they are lucky or they will pay even more if tariffs and deportations of immigrants are really in place. But they may lose health insurance if ACA is cut
Elections have consequences.

These three things have still not been fixed and we deal with the safety issues and the threats to democracy they create.
Even when terrible things happen due to Republican administrations and their hatred of government, people don't connect the dots.
I get that it feels good to think you know better and that eventually people will see what a hellscape they've created, but they won't. Things will just be worse and someone in the future will blame Dems for things Republicans did. So, fight like hell for the scraps of civility we have left, friends. No one is going to fix it all and hand it to us on a silver platter.
Amen. Until people start realizing that most of what ails society today is a direct result of Reagan/Bush policies, we will never get anywhere. I still cannot fathom how even some Dems still think old Ronnie was a great President
I have difficulty with your ignorance. Reagan and Bush were REPUBLICANS and Democrats did not vote for Reagan or either Bush.
Anonymous wrote:Those democrats are foolish and short sighted. It's incredible that in their position of comfort, wealth, and education, they cannot think intelligently, but they expect poorer, less educated people to be smarter.
People voted Trump because they are fed up with our society, and they are desperate for change. If Trump is as bad as we think he is, society only gets worse.
What do these successful democrats think happens when society gets worse? There will be more shootings of successful people in the streets.

Some want Obama care repealed, all illegal immigrants deported and heavy crackdown on crime including shoplifting,
and on and on.
Most are well off business people and professionals and will benefit from the tax cuts and becoming Trump police supporters after they voted for KH and are so disappointed after she lost.
All true Americans want their POTUS to succeed. The problem is; when you elect elderly people like Trump and Biden to perform this very demanding job, the odds of success aren't good. 2nd graders can figure this out but not eligible American voters.
Another problem is voting in a lying, treasonous, felon, rapist con man as president.....never good for a country.
Wait one sec -- you forgot anti-trans, anti-letters community, obese, demented and with McDonald's breath. No wonder you lost the election.

And we can start on December 20. If the democrats don’t get everything they want for the CR, then they should not help Johnson pass it.
The democrats need to stop being patsies. No more compromise. The democrats tried that with the lankford bill and it was a disaster.
Dems should do zero to help Johnson unless it benefits Democrats. Let the GOP shut down the government. It's going to be a turbulent ride so fasten your seat belts!
And that’s how Democrats roll. Glad we’ll soon have a President who’ll work to benefit ALL Americans.
lol, what a laughable comment. There’s no hope with people like this among us.
Haven't you left for a white European country with social welfare benefits? We don't want you among us.
dp Too bad, but you can't wish us away. We don't want YOU or your orange man but, here we are. And also, as an American it is my right to stay in America. I don't give two sh&ts that you don't want us.
As you would say 'cry harder'
MAGA....they are always crying
Nope, MAGA... always winning and laughing at you.
