I agree wholeheartedly. The America I thought I was living in was just a dream. Half our nation doesn't care about rule of law or Democracy.
And your half believes the rule of law is just a club for punishing your opponents and literally thinks “democracy” only exists if your side wins. If you lose an election, “ iT’s TeH EnD oF oUr dEmOcRaCY!”.
That’s who you are.
No. We never said that when Reagan or Bush I or Bush II won. We didn’t even really say that when Trump won 2016. If you can’t see what the powerful people who influence Trump now are doing to break down our government, you’re delusional.
Your side called Bush II Hitler and a chimp. Dems always say the worst things about Republicans until the next one is nominated.
Because every Republican is worse than the last one. Bush Il looks great next to Trump but that's not saying much. He did not suffer from the WMD lie.
See, one day you'll think Trump is just fine so you shouldn't worry about his next four years.

So much for muh J6. Womp womp.
What point are you trying to make? Did you struggle to spell 'my'?
NP... The point is obvious. If the case was really that important and backed by solid and provable evidence than it should not have been dropped. You know that rule of law thing...

Give me a break. Your side wanted to end the filibuster, pack scotus and micromanage social media to squash political speech. Don’t try to play the “break down our government” nonsense after that.

Can I just say that Jack Smith has shown himself to be a massive loser.
Just a couple months ago he’d making court filings talking about the future of democracy at stake. And now here he is with his tail between his legs looking to salvage his legal career. I wish him the best though.

Hillary Clinton warns 'we lose total control' without social media content moderation
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Saturday warned social media platforms must take responsibility for moderating their content or risk losing “total control.”
“We now know that that was an overly simple view,” Clinton said of Section 230. “If the platforms — whether it’s Facebook or Twitter - X or Instagram or TikTok or whatever they are — if they don’t moderate and monitor the content, we lose total control.”
Who is the we who is losing total control?
The Dems have had suffocated free speech in so many areas of public life that they completely lost touch with how poorly their beliefs are received by normal people. Dem ideas cannot survive in an environment of free speech, so they must suppress if they are to "win" any "debate." After decades of making basic facts unspeakable (see, e.g., Chalres Murray's famous book), Dems are in for a rude awakening in the future. The post-WW2 order is falling, and Dems have no vision for what should replace it.
Frankly, Republicans don't have much of a vision either, so we should all be worried about the guy who follows Trump. The people are hungry for order and may pay a terrible price to get it.
