Subject: When will class assignments be out?
First time MS parent here, so sorry for the dumb question:
How can I tell when my kid has lunch? There are three shifts at his MS, but it doesn't show on his schedule. Is it a surprise first day?

Anyone else’s kid have different schedules in Schoology vs ParentVUE? How do we know which is correct?

I know why they don’t release early-
Because my freshman kid’s English teacher, who is named in ParentVUE, has left the county so it will be a surprise I guess when he gets to the classroom to see who he has.
And his world history geography class literally has no teacher. It’s the last class of the day and it says Online—with no indication of where he is actually supposed to go in the school.
If I had this information ahead of time, we would have been calling.
Now, he gets to learn some resilience by walking into an unknown?

It's weird. Everyone at my kid's school got their emails and assignments in SIS yesterday. We didn't get the email, and teacher's name in SIS is blank. It does have a classroom number.
Will call the school today to find out why.

To the mom who wants a teacher change: it’s not happening.
Imagine if teachers got rosters and could go to admin and say “I don’t like the looks of this kid, can you get him out of here?”

Both Schoology and SIS
NP here. Both of my high schoolers see theirs in Schoology but I can't see it in SIS.
