Lots of teams have injuries, but NVA's 09s seem to be going through some things right now. They really haven't been the same since about the time NS left (not saying NS was the reason they were good, just saying). They dominated VDA at Jeff Cup last year, but ended up losing the bracket to that same VDA team on points. Then struggled in Texas and crashed out of the Seattle. Something is definitely off, the roster doesn't look like there was much turnover from last year and they weren't necessarily a "kickball/big kids" type team from what I saw last year.
But then, 4-1-1, with one bad weekend isn't really that bad a place to be. Still half a season and MidAtlantic Cup to go (not including showcases, etc.).
NVA 09 always “crashes out” in the playoffs. That’s not a PL problem. NS was in Texas so what’s the excuse there? Stop blaming coaches for everything.
NS > PL Doesn't mean NS was going to take that team and suddenly start being the best of Cali and TX. Those teams are just better. But the team is certainly worse off with PL.
How come NVA 09 can’t get out of the group at playoffs but other virginia teams can?

Those 2 teams tied at UMD and VDA “dominated” at BSC tournament. Give it a rest.
Give what a rest? Not sure what you're arguing.
They tied at Copa Rayados 2-2, VDA lost to NVA 1-0 in season play, then VDA won 1-0 at Bethesda, but then NVA beat VDA 3-0 at Jeff Cup (all prior to UMD). I'll let those scores stand on there own. One definitely stands out compared to the others. They are both very good teams in their Conference, just noting that NVA hit a rough patch at the end of the season last year, reflected as noted above.
NVA's struggles are 100% coaching-related.
So why is NVA using the same washed up coaches year after year? Its a business. Ain’t nobody giving up 30-40K per team/year for the subpar service they offer and little work they do.
3 nights a week plus a weekend game. US soccer is a scam.
