My experiences are with the GA North program. I can’t speak to the boys side.
They are cleaning house and working to create a friendly and supportive culture.
The toxic parents have mostly left
but some still remain. I hope they can change their ways and adapt to the new culture BC is trying to create.
BC and his team want to teach GREAT soccer. Not track. Not boot it ball.
They are offering extra programming that my friends in other clubs have to find private trainers for. Rigorous summer training schedule, strength training, conditioning, futsal, nutrition.
BC & other new coaches say they see soccer as training for life. I agree.
I’ve met new families and seen quality players. Of those I’ve met, which certainly isn’t everyone, new players have come from other local clubs. A few are new to the area.
GA Director is amazing, passionate, and seems very sincere. I hope he can bring his vision to life.
We have our fields, trainings and events locked for the summer. Not yet sure about the fall as is typical of most clubs. We are pretty sure we know where we will be but it needs to be confirmed. We do not have our own “home” and I don’t know when/if we will. I’m okay with that for the time being but maybe not forever. For now it’s fine for us.
Club is going through a period of change. I am ok with that because I see a lot of great seeds being planted.
So this really did not age well. It was from just last month. I wonder how OP is feeling now?

Sounds like a 1099 paid remote worker. He's hourly for technical advice and likely gets paid per placement or something like that. They'll likely use him very little. It's a nice PR tactic and perhaps BC gets paid for placing some kids.
Bastien learned more about the #$%!-show that is now at FCV, and he bailed. He's not listed on the coaches page anymore:

Putting him in as an "advisor" is purely a marketing ploy in a sad attempt for Adam to save face. Every single new coach Adam originally brought in this Spring for the GA program is gone. ALL of them. What's left now is recycled, local coaches, some of which were losing their old jobs from all the other soccer craziness (mergers) in the area. Really sad to see what TSJ and Adam have done to this club.
