Bar none - - no exceptions.
And before people tell me that celebrities are rich & can afford cosmetic surgery, Botox, fillers, personal trainers, stylists, etc…..
Then why don’t ALL celebrities look as good as J Lo when they hit 56?
I mean look at Madonna, she used to be so beautiful when she was younger.
And she hasn’t been pretty for decades.
Mariah Carey looks bloated most of the time ➕ Gwen Stefani’s face looks like an ad for extreme plastic surgery.
People can be attractive and fit after the age of fifty > but they need good genetics to pull it off.

I look great, but OP 55 IS old. I know it and I don’t care. I have neighbors in their 39s that invite us out all of the time- my sons are actually closer in age to them at 20 than we are.
Who cares? No need to prove any point.
+1. Time moves a lot faster after 50. You will look a lot different from 50-59

I know I am old and I am a-okay w/it.
Sure it sucks having to color my hair every 2 wks and my mid-section looks a little thicker than I would like.
Also I recently lost an infected tooth so I miss my youthful smile too.
But there are definite pluses to being old(er.)
My kids are grown and have their own lives now in their 30’s.
I no longer have to support them so now I spend $ on myself more.
I am no longer tied down w/minor children…..I have much more freedom to socialize, partake in my hobbies, ETC.
Most of all is a self-acceptance that I never had in my youth.
And best of all now > when I speak, 🗣️ people actually listen to me and take me seriously which they never did in my younger years……

-53 yr old.
It all depends on the person. Many examples of two people roughly the same age, one looks great and the other one looks old and broken.
Very true. I am 42 and younger men tell me I don't look a day over 21. My mother also is 65 and has no wrinkles. So i get away with dating younger men and I often look younger than those younger men as well
