I have big hips, and Boden dresses are by far the most flattering on me. Beautiful dress! You might want to check out the Florrie dresses. They’re my fave.
Yes! I wish Boden would lean into solids a bit more.
Agree- so often I like their styles but not the colorways. I did just get this one in the navy/white dot and like it:

My other issue with Boden is that their v neck styles are usually too deep on me.

Does Biden run true to size? I've never gotten anything from there, but this is cute!

I am a size 0/2 with an athletic build and often find the dresses are clearly designed for someone with a bigger bust -- gaping necklines or darts that sag on me. Which is not an uncommon problem if you are small chested, but is baffling for a brand that does 100% of their model photos on size 0 models with small breasts. I have the same issue with their swimsuits.
They're jersey dresses that rely on fabric stretch for fit work best. And I always size down.
I agree that the Boden stuff tends to run big in the chest, so I'm careful about ordering anything with a low scoop or vneck and size down on those -- which works if it's a full skirt, but not if it's a straight skirt. I have some BOden dresses that just have crew neck or boat necks and it’s not an issue with them, though.

I got the somerset dress based on a recommendation from here (https://www.anthropologie.com/shop/the-somerset-maxi-dress2?category=dresses-maxi-midi&color=012&type=STANDARD&quantity=1) and I was obsessed enough to get another in a different print. I have been showered with compliments so far every time I’ve worn it. I also just got the Katerina dress and am about to go for a second in another color (https://www.anthropologie.com/shop/the-katerina-button-front-dress5?category=SEARCHRESULTS&color=012&searchparams=q%3Dkaterina&type=STANDARD&quantity=1). I have been ignoring Anthropologie all these years and now I don’t know why!
Only complaint is the weird way they model the maxi dresses - every one seems to feature one pic of the model pulling the dress up to show her leg. Lmao.
That Katarina is really pretty!
I tried a Somerset a couple of years ago but it just didn't work for me - instead of looking lovely, cool, and feminine, I looked like a box swathed in layers and layers of fabric. It's such a great dress (for other people).
But the pics of Katarina are pretty enough that here we go with me being ready to try again...

Does it bother anyone else when you can see the underside of a skirt or dress and it's not the same as the front of the pattern? Like you see the hemming and that it's the white underside?
It bothers me especially in high-low dresses but also when there are buttons that allow you to see the underside. Hopefully it's just me and I need to get over it

For a dress like this it wouldn't bother me because it's a casual dress. If it was more formal it would read as cheap but on this I wouldn't notice/care.
