It's not like MCPD enforces laws at schools anyway. They act if it's some magical zone where laws don't apply.

Agree, MCPS is not a law enforcement agency. MCPD needs to start doing their job.

Well for starters, MCPD should be allowed to do what's needed to keep schools safe (inside and out) but MoCo politicians think they can do whatever they want including kicking them out of the school buildings.
