Some schools may have a single unit in social studies about non-US history and maybe a week spent on religions. Some kids will take a broader course in high school, like AP World. Many, many live in social groups that are not diverse and never get a chance to travel unless by car, and then its usually to a beach or lake or to visit family.

My school did mention Paganism and Hedonism practiced in other countries. I hardly call anything outside of mainstream Judaism and mainstream Christian religions as actual religion.

Don't stop there. They worship new random ideologies apparently born from some rocks and some trees, clearly not deep thought and evidence. And they workship some supposed Native American hs. Or the latest book by the most popular TV personality, or the most hateful celebrity with just the right narrative.

it took around 400 years after the Islamic conquest of Persia until the majority of Iranians converted. There are definitely Zoroastrian Arabs. They are much rarer than Arab Christians

Earlier on in this thread I saw a reference to Zoroastrian Arabs and did some looking up. While there definitely Zoroastrian Arabs at the time of the Islamic conquests (Islam explicitly considers Zoroastrians people of the book) and a few centuries beyond, I couldn't find any references to any existing Arab Zoroastrian communities.
