Good grief, BASIS burns through teachers like crazy, particularly capable STEM middle school instructors. DCPS pays better and doesn't demand as much from teachers in the highest-performing programs. Of course the odd teacher bails from BASIS to DCPS. What else can inveterate BASIS boosters deny? I've lost track.
