Not surprised. Nuns are almost non-existent. Can’t have nuns in your school when there are none.

AD is last man standing. Blaming parents is perhaps the only card left to play.

Visi is transitioning from a nun-controlled to semi-secular school. This distraction allows the current AD to keep his job until the board completes its review.

Is Visi really transitioning away from nun-controlled to semi-secular? If yes, why? Moving toward something more similar to SR (leadership wise). Somehow I missed this.

Was the new coach announced?

What makes you think visi will even be competitive this spring?

A daddy coach to the rescue, yet again.

Not a good look.

Seniors will be checked out by mid April and not much talent in the grades below

After this spring, and given lack of support from AD, head coach uncertainty etc etc, the program will fall rather dramatically in the spring of 2025. Current freshman class is OK and I suspect some will even transfer out after this year.

Stone Ridge will continue reap the benefits of visi continued athletic incompetence.

And the current eighth graders, who don't have a very strong group to begin with, may decide to bypass Visi in the application process. The 2028 class could be historically weak unless Visi gets it together quickly.

The AD is the only one worth a damn over there. Coaches leave because of the parents and because the school admin gives the coaches zero support in getting good players through the door. It’s really simple.

They did not have a single person at this year’s open house who could answer a lax question - I get not having the coach who had just left, but they did not think to have a single varsity player there? Bad look when compared to other privates.

That’s a really bad look. Shows how they prioritize.

Incompetent AD + low pay = root cause of multi year problem

It is difficult for me to understand how a constantly changing group of parents could be the root cause of the troubles.

What is a worse job? The Republican Speaker of the House or the Visi Lax Coach?
