I said this to the local person who organizes the ONE THING I did for the Dems during covid. 5 years later, I'm voting R now b/c at least the don't harass me. (that last part is a lie)

I donated to a democratic candidate back in 2016 using Act Blue. It was a mistake.

Now I’m on a mailing list and get weekly, if not daily, emails reminding me that democracy is dying and the Nazis are going to come back from their moon base and take over America.

ActBlue, the online fund-raising organization that powers Democratic candidates, has plunged into turmoil, with at least seven senior officials resigning late last month and a remaining lawyer suggesting he faced internal retaliation.

What prompted so many longtime ActBlue officials to leave is not clear — none of the former officials agreed to be interviewed on the record.

ActBlue’s customer service and partnerships directors, who had both worked at the group for more than a decade, left, according to the unions’ letter.
