Again, I think we ALL agree that human traffickers need to be cracked down on and put behind bars, but the QAnon conspiracy theories are really over-the-top and are likely to cause more harm than good. After all it's already driven people to shoot up pizza parlors and other things.

What will cause more harm is the democrats who object and criticize this movie. Most of people start questioning why would anyone support child trafficking?

That’s exactly what we’re talking about. People questioning some of the facts and methods presented in this film and the opinions of its creators and stars DOES NOT MEAN that those people “support child trafficking.”

Last weekend on I-287 in central Jersey I was driving behind a pickup truck with a giant sticker covering the entire back window that said “SAVE A DEER, HUNT A PEDOPHILE” and the pickup bed contained a human skeleton. Just because I think that person has gone around the bend doesn’t mean that I support pedophiles.

Do you question the facts in Mission Impossible? Because this movie is a fiction too.

No one goes to the movies to see a middle aged dad doing dishes and coaching little league.
They pay to see a movie where a middle aged dad rescues kittens from a dangerous jungle crawling with tigers.

I also thought the movie Taken was pretty bad but I was not accused of supporting sex trafficking for not liking it and not encouraging others to see it. Around the time it came out I was heavily involved in volunteer work and it frustrated me how the movie portrayed trafficking when that’s just not what it looks like most of the time. When I ask fans of Sound of Freedom why this movie is different or better (both depict heavily sensationalized versions of how trafficking works that bears little resemblance to the majority of trafficking) they are not able to articulate it.

So I think the title of this post is very apt. Yes, indeed, what are they up to? Lots of plausible deniability here but it’s all very strange.
