The Usual Suspects in the pre-internet era was great. My friends and I rented that one and a few of us were watching the movie closely and another couple were bored and not paying much attention. When the reveal happened, the three of us were shouting and the other two didn’t understand what was going on. One of my favorite movie memories.
I don't know what chip I am missing but I spent all of The Usual Suspects waiting for the twist (that everyone told me would shock me) since I thought everyone but the cop knew who Keyser Soze was.

In Mad Men when they won the John Deer account, one of the secretaries was driving a rider mower around the office and took off a guy's foot. In the end, management said they had to fire him because he couldn't play golf with only one foot.

OMG, the bat (Lucille) scene was horrific. I couldn’t even believe what I was watching. What was the fair scene?
When the Whisperers slipped into the fair and dressed up like the regular people, then kidnapped a bunch of them, put them in a barn, killed them, beheaded them, then placed their heads on spikes. I did not see that one coming at all.
Ohh, right - now I remember. Still though, not as shocking as the bat scene.
