My teen is male and he is a skateboarder. I see it as my job to explain to him why when he wears shredded clothing that is faded and stretched out, some people think he's unhoused.

That dress is interesting and I don’t hate it. What’s wrong with wanting to wear an interesting dress when you’re young? Or old, for that matter?
