And on the flip side, it shows huge insecurity on the part of Sidwell parents who cannot resist responding with vitriol when baited. If Sidwell parents were so confident, they wouldn’t bite so hard.
Most of the people responding aren’t Sidwell parents (and most say so). They just recognize nonsense when they see it.

You wish. Bullis wishes.
Sidwell never thinks about Bullis.
You are certainly spending a lot of time thinking about Bullis.
I’m not Sidwell, nor am I a Sidwell parent.
However, I know that a lion doesn't concern itself with the opinion of sheep.
So you really don’t know anything about either school?
know enough about Bullis that I would never waste my time, gas, or money to send my children there.

PR fluff. This Bullis document has already been discussed. Please read the thread before posting.
Ugh-you must be a Bullis grad!
Why do you think facts are fluff? It's where Bullis is now, and doesn't even list half the kids in the senior class as far as where they are going (only the first 2 lists do that, and there are 129 in the graduating class). They said they would post a complete list, and they will. A shame other privates won't do the same - what have they got to hide???

Bullis isn't the hubris-packed pressure cooker that Sidwell is. Can you know nothing private school parents take a step back and critically think? Stop conforming to the old garde mythology of Bullis and breathe in the facts. Bullis college counseling sends kids where they truly want to go. Counselors help kids decide from a wealth of options.
To rebut some false claims-
1. Citing the senior instagram page "23niors" as an argument is laughable. The senior page is not a valid judgment of the matriculations. There are many kids going to t20s who have not posted because of personal preference.
2. The "pandemic" as a pretext for why the matriculations were "better" in the past year is a straight up lie. The better matriculations can be attributed to a larger emphasis on academics and a stellar college counseling department -- one that isn't denigrated by self loathing parents.
3. There are not "5-10 kids" who got into ivies. This isn't even feasible numbers wise. I can assure you that the number is much higher.
Please step back, reflect, and pause on your keyboard warrior rampages. Bullis is a phenomenal school which shouldn't be taken lightly. These other private schools can boast similar acceptances, but that doesn't take anything away from the brilliance of Bullis.
