MONTHS.

Nope.

This is ridiculous. I’m a Democrat and I say Fetterman owes his constituents more than this. He owes specific details and actual honesty about his fitness. Occupying a seat without being able to fulfill its duties AND without a clear explanation as to when/why is unacceptable. If an R did this, I’d want a special election called yesterday.

As a Pennsylvanian, I am good with Fetterman. He has staff and support and he will continue to get things done - and he is not even remotely the only legislator to have suffered a stroke and remained in office.

His staff weren’t elected to be a Senator. He was.

And he still is the Senator. It's not like he's comatose. Get a grip. There have been many members of Congress who stayed in office after suffering a stroke.

Even if he’s comatose, he’s still the senator. Sheesh.

There's also President Wilson.

Democrat President Woodrow Wilson viciously supported racial segregation. Democrats never should have never put in him the White House. What they did to this country was sheer evil.

Ehh, that was all before the Southern Strategy. People like Wilson would be Republicans today.

Wilson would not have been a Republican... not in any way, shape or form.

Well that is just not how this works.

How conservative of you.

The conservatives did in fact teach us all how this works. You win the election and then you serve until the next one regardless of the situation. We dont make the rules but we can observe how they operate.

How many of them had to read every word the Fetterman does?

I feel bad for this guy and have no doubt Messalina herself hounded him into staying in the race at the cost of his health. Men, this is what you get for marrying a trophy wife.
