I hadn’t been there in years and recently went for my daughter’s birthday. It was so bad. They were out of some menu items and the portions were huge and unappealing. The only good thing was the service. When it opened in Park Potomac, we went there frequently and it was fine. Not sure what’s going on.
Hate FF. So overrated. So expansive. Food is average at best.
After this review, is it really overrated? I've neither heard or read anything positive about it.

Exactly. It is really difficult for it to be overrated when it is so widely panned. Not sure why its still in business. Or is it?

If you live in Westover or Cherrydale and this happens to be your neighborhood sandwich and pizza joint? Well, it’s pretty amazing to have one this good! It’s probably not a place to drive a half an hour or more for. We are in Westover and love it.
People in Arlington only think it is good because they have no competition. If you had the option to go to a real Italian deli like the ones in other parts of tge country, you would realize how overpriced and overhyped the Italian Store is.
I also agree Italian Store is too expensive for the quality.
The Italian Deli in N. Arlington is much better.
