Being spotted doesn't mean he's "well." I wish people would learn that, especially with stroke and other brain injuries--if stroke is what this was--rehab can go on for really the rest of your life, and you don't necessarily "get well" and start living your life exactly as you did before. I truly do hope he does go back to his old self but we have no idea at all at this point. It's like people need to have a binary set of options -- "sick" and "well." With stroke there's not necessarily anything like those tidy, binary options. Of course, his family still hasn't said what happened; I think that reflects their fear of his being labeled.
He's upright, on a boat and waving. These are good indications of his overall physical well being.

I’m the pp who first mentioned that he was spotted. If Jamie isn’t left handed I could see how the pp could feel apprehensive about how well he actually is. He’s not standing and moving around and he’s waving with his left hand. I’m right handed and even if I had a phone in my hand I would wave with my dominant hand. Either way, I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers.
There’s a video of him taking his sunshades off with his right hand.

Are you a bot? You think any of this is real? It's obviously all choreographed p.r. And he's clearly in Chicago because it's the top stroke recovery center. The awkward way this is filmed and he's sitting clearly suggests he's got issues on the right side of his body.

I hear you PP but if you watch the video he does appear well. He’s waving to the cameras etc. Perhaps he isn’t “well” but from the video he appears to be doing “well” despite the rumors.
He was sitting down and awkwardly waved only his left hand. I don't think it means he's well. He's still in Chicago, presumably recovering from a massive stroke. If he's paralyzed on one side of his body, he might be wheelchair bound the rest of his life like other massive stroke victims I know.
