Didn’t read it, saw and heard it first hand at st James and then over at Westfields. You are the biggest collective of douche bags, fight the ref, get tossed out of a game grouping of asshat parents this side of the Maryland border.

Where did you read Battlefield crowing? Sounded to me like a Westfields parent was impressed with competing team. As far as scrimmages being used to shake rust off, no team if you are competitive is shaking rust off 2 weeks into start of season. The good teams have been on WD40 since fall.

What was the format of the scrimmage that Oakton got blown out in?

Scrimmages are little more than teams shaking off the rust and coaches moving around players and making tweaks while douche bag parents to crow about how great battlefield and the pro area are and the 6A parents laugh at them.

Dominion lost all their 6A games last year and this year’s team is not as good. They would be competitive, but I doubt they would sweep through 6A. They better worry about 4A as the gap is closing on them.

First, it’s a scrimmage. I’m sure winning was not a priority. Second, they played Potomac and Dominion. Two good teams. I’m not sure any 6A could beat Dominion this season. 6A will probably be wide open.


Take that bet all day long. Big difference in the level of competition and number of teams in 6A versus 4A. 6A has a lot stronger teams, 4A has maybe 2 or 3 teams.

From what I hear, sounds like Oakton is way overrated this year. Apparently they got killed in both their scrimmages today. Take out their number 1 middie, and they don’t have that much and will struggle offensively. Apparently their coach just rides 2-3 main players all game and from what others said, they burnt out pretty quickly

The Riverside pound should provide a bigger challenge next week. Perhaps Westfield isn't ready for the next step.

Yes, the sophomore has to play because the junior is still hurt. Both are very good, WOS I’d that the junior will return in a week or two.
