If the former, it's all I wear, more or less. If the latter, I have not.

I’m not some sexy babe who looks great in lingerie but I know what I can wear at night that works for both my DH and me. I think it’s important for both spouses to keep the fires burning. We did that when we were dating and newlyweds so why not now?

NP here, I don't know their marriage but sometimes the answer is he sucks as a husband. And nothing she can do about it.

My wife won't indulge lingerie or anything sexual anymore. She sucks as a wife and I can't change that, but Lord knows I tried.

It's a relationship board, meaning people come on here usually when they are having issues. I found this board on a Google search when I was having similar problems, the first few years of my marriage work rate and I wasn't on something like this. Now I am one of those people in a growingly hostile, sexless marriage and probably will be back here talking about affairs as well.

I'm convinced by most of these comments and on other discussion threads that the majority of women on DCUM don't like their husbands or maybe just men in general. They don't want to have sex with them, don't want to ever wear lingerie. Then they come complain about their husbands possibly having affairs, and want huge alimony payouts when they divorce. It's all so...weird. Like, what's the point of even being married if you can't have fun with your spouse?

Sure, a lot of the time, but every person really is different!

I wear lingerie because I enjoy it, but when I ask DH he is non-committal about it. He really just can't wait to take it off and move on to what's next. He likes that I enjoy it, but he's more turned on by a regular tank top that happens to be a little see through than by some complicated lace contraption.

I wear lingerie, but if my husband had such gross behavior as you describe (like being the creepy dad at the pool) a wife who didn’t wear lingerie would be the least of his problems.

Be a chore. Silk pants and a camisole are perfectly fine to do bathtime for the toddler and pack lunch…shortie PJs can be work to bring in the groceries in a pinch. Maybe when my kids are at “we have an away game” age, I’ll be wearing sex-specific lingerie again but for me, the 20 minutes dolling up is a waste of 20 minutes with DH, and wearing activity-suitable lingerie means he’s counting the minutes to nap time.
