The pro abortion folks have no sleeping babies

You don’t get to tell others what to do.
Nope b.c you aren't a judge appointed by Presidents who lost the popular vote
Those judges haven't told anyone what to do or not do. They're (rightly) leaving those decisions up to the states' voters. You seem terribly uninformed.
So you are ok overturning Obergfell, Griswold and Loving. Got it.
Who has overturned Obergfell, Griswold, and Loving? We'll wait while you blather away about... something.

Then I just saw two social media posts about the same. One from a friend who said her family would be attending a protest at X location instead. Another from a friend who announced they were no longer celebrating and would be wearing black on that day instead.
I told my kids our plans got canceled and neither seemed to care. DS said there's nothing to celebrate this year. DD said wearing black is a trend that's going around on tictock along with not buying gas July 2 (or 3rd maybe?) and a women's strike.

Seriously. Whatever virtue signaling works for you, I guess.
We’re doing what we’ve always done. Zero fcks given.
Yep. "DS said there's nothing to celebrate this year." Well, does your son have a roof over his head? Is he healthy? Does he have a family that loves him? Does he have a dog? I think OP's number one priority should be teaching her children about gratitude & not virtue signaling / how to out-woke each other.

+1
Will be celebrating as usual. Love my country.

For those of us who are pet parents, the night can be practically unbearable as we witness our furry friends suffer horribly for hours.
Finally, as seen on this thread, many are still processing the demise of RvW so please be conscious of their suffering and anguish as well.
Sounds like you need to find a remote cabin in the woods for the sake of your neighborhood.

This is what it sounds like to me too. How did performance become our highest purpose?
Like wearing red, white and blue to prove you are patriotic. Performance patriotism
True. It's all performance and not all of it is new. But I think we need to pay attention to how performing is replacing rational solution-seeking in our culture.
