Thanks for the explanation on the salary. But it still seems weird to put a principal in a position with less responsibility than before. Why would they do that? Does this mean she wasn't viewed as an effective principal?

No, KM wanted to get into admin. Completely her choice to leave Taylor hanging by announcing less than a week before the school year ended. Sounds like all is well that ends well, though - everyone is so excited to meet Dr. Lynch!

Don't know anything about this principal. But, if you want to maintain salary and have a better quality of life and a different career experience, it's a good deal
