I didn’t have an alert but I may have gotten lucky. I checked late at night and was able to put in an order. I ordered enspire, for what it’s worth. I also checked other stores, and the enfamil website was the only thing that actually worked. There’s a slight delay in shipping (it says that it will ship next week) but the order did go through…so I’m kind of hopeful. I would try alerts and checking repeatedly.

Has anyone had any luck with alerts on Enfamil’s website? I put one up for Enspire early last week but never got an alert that it was in stock! I guess I’ll keep checking the website over and over.

If your child will drink other brands, its fine to switch. If you are on regular, look at the regular and gentle/sensitive forms.
To make it easier on yourself. Switch to the generic equivalent of your formula. All the generics are made by the same manufacturer. For example, if you are using similac advance can use cvs advantage, kirkland advantage, parent choice advantage etc. You'll know because the generic will be the same color as your brand name formula.

My belief is that the perception that a baby is rejecting a formula or having a reaction to it is almost always a reflection of adult anxiety. I would not make any elaborate mixing plans. Instead have someone else feed the baby the new formula bottles.

It depends on the child. Some are flexible and ok with switching formula's, others are not. I never mixed. I just gave them a fresh bottle and saw if they drank it. Mine were particular.

If you have a girl who uses Gentle formula, can substitute soy formula. Soy is estrogenic.

When my baby was using formula I switched things up regularly. This was in part intentional so that we were not dependent on any one specific formula. (Just in case there was a situation like the current one!) . She tolerated everything except Bobbie which gave her terrible gas. I never mixed for transition but if she had refused something I would have tried that.
I did mix with Bobbie - she could tolerate 2 ounces a day of that and no more…
