How is that a false narrative?
I'm sick and tired of these corrupt MCPS officials.
We have zero evidence of corruption here, and you're stil yammering on about this 10 pages later. There are plenty of real problems that MCPS is facing. How about redirecting your energies to solving one of them?
So, you think this is ok? What exactly was accomplished at this meeting?
You act as though she's a trainee being paid by the hour who spent too much time in the breakroom. She's the superintendent of a major public school system, that is a professional, executive position. It is entirely within her purview to meet with a university president to discuss opportunities for collaboration.
This is not a collaboration. And, if it is, please tell us how it is? Its a tiny out of state school that is smaller than a regular MCPS high school.
And, this could have been done over zoom.
Collaboration is with local schools to provide teacher training and internships.
That’s your view of collaboration. Actual leaders of large organizations are capable of thinking more broadly than that.
A strong leader of a public school system would put her students first. Remember how Dr. McKnight was late to the Magruder shooting press conference and she showed up with a matching pink mask and coat all ready for the camera? Dr. McKnight paid an ex-MCPS employee $130 per hour for PR assistance and now she wants to spend $500,000 on a communications firm for next year. Now the out of state travel on MCPS’s dime while she also is cutting teaching and counselor positions next year.
Let’s not forget how she gave Central Office employees an extra week of vacation when they should have been planning for the COVID surge following winter break. Putting students first is just a slogan for Dr. McKnight. Action, not words, is what students need. Start with drastically reducing class sizes in more than just Title I schools.

She is not doing her job if she is traveling.
Keep making up your own fantasies. She's still connected to her laptop and work phone.
You are making up fantasies if you think she was actually working via a laptop and work phone. She was on vacation. What exactly came out of that trip/visit? Please, share with us.
Let me guess you can't stand that an AA woman is in charge of MCPS?
Bingo
What was accomplished during the trip that could not have been done over the phone?
That can be said for all business travel, but people still feel it's important. Anyway, sounds like you have a beef with Dr. McKnight and are just looking for nits to pick.

They clearly subscribe to the belief that if they repeat these lies often enough some people will believe them.
