He seems to be on drugs, right? So many odd movements and bug eyes.
He seems classic ADHD to me--not sure whether he's on stimulants for that reason but something is up with him.

At first I thought he was just saving face, but no, he was outright celebrating. What an ass. At least go check on Deepti who 24 hours earlier you were raving about as your best friend.
He is so awful. Couldn’t believe how he was talking about his stupid fitness regime and his Nobu reservation. Deepti was way too good for him and I’m so glad she realized it.
Totally!! It was bizarre. Did you hear a friend (the blonde girl) who asked if he was sad? It would have been understandable if he stood in a corner with a few of his friends or walked away. It was like he wanted camera/attention. I loved how supportive Deepti's parents were. Good for her-- she's a total catch.
Eh, he was saving face, understandable under the circumstances. The reality is there's little you can do if you're not attracted to someone, even if it is due to internalized racism. Do I think it's weird that this average-looking dad-bod dude is so superficial? Yes, but he's allowed to feel how he feels. Just happy Deepti was wise enough to realize she deserves better and call it off!
True but he was filmed saying these unkind things. Sure he knew she'd see that footage at some point. Incredibly insensitive.

I was happy to see the outcome for everybody, except for Mallory and Salvatore who I thought would both say yes. I wonder if they truly meant it when they said they wanted to try to continue things after filming. They really seem to care for one another, and he is such a catch.
Unless they do a Bachelor in Paradise style spinoff this summer, I am glad never to have to see Shayne’s eyebugging Busey face and heat his hyena laugh again. Even him just walking across the room was like watching Kramer as a newborn colt (sans socks).
Shayne just cannot be real….like I don’t run in circles that would expose me to a guy like that but what a pathetic child of a man. And he’s gross.
He should have kissed the ground she walked on. What a catch, even willing to be the stable breadwinner for Mr “I don’t believe in 401ks.” Thank god she saw his true colors and said no.
Speaking of breadwinners, anyone know what Sal actually does for a living? Seemed like such a lovely guy but Mal’s family did have concerns about his relative lack of financial stability. Not Shane-level obviously.

An article mentioned his various jobs. Looks like he hasn’t held them for long, and mostly minimum wage a la front desk receptionist. So, some disconnect between his apparent maturity and lack of professional growth.
His introduction for employment was tourism sales. I interpret that to mean “timeshare salesman “. Just a guess and not based on any evidence.
This was my guess because of how they never mentioned his actual job! I told my husband "he probably sells admission tickets or something." He reminded me a lot of artsy idealistic people I went to school with. A lot of us spent our 20s in low wage jobs because we "didn't value money" and were trying to make it in artistic or museum fields, or figure out what else to do. I don't think it's a sign of immaturity, i think it's a sign of having to reconcile your values and adapt over time.
I figured he was singing a lot and just had a day job to deal between gigs or for insurance. He seems like a good guy but I think he was here to get his voice out there and be discovered. Which is fine.
